Genesis

Kendriya Vidyalaya NTPC Rihand Nagar has started working initially for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 1988 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

New building of Vidyalaya is situated near Son Shakti Stadium, NTPC Rihand Nagar. Vidyalaya is about 1 KM from Bijpur Bus Stand. It is 2 section school. Vidyalaya offers Science and Commerce Streams in class XI and XII.
